In 2011 our owner and Chief Riding Officer was all ready actively mtb riding and was just starting to do some road riding events and was looking for a cycling accessory to hold and store his gear. Frustrated with what was available on the market, over the next 8-10 months he designed and developed the first generation Cyclist Case and launched the CAT5GEAR Brand and the Cyclist Case in the spring of 2012.

Over the years as we used and abused our cases, and from listening to fellow riders, improvements to our flagship product were made…

Although the Cyclist Case is great for storing your gear when travelling and cycling abroad (it fits most airlines carry on baggage requirements) it was really designed for meeting friends at the trailhead, or a popular riding spot and being ready2ride.

Through our online store we have shipped all across Canada and all 50 of the US states, but have also shipped internationally to Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sweden, Turkey, UAE and the United Kingdom.
