Unfortunately, due to the recent suspension of trade talks between Canada and the United States in late August 2026, the tariff on our products entering the U.S. has increased from 20% to 50%.

When the tariff was 20%, CAT5GEAR was able to work with our U.S. customers and friends by offering discounts to help absorb a portion of these additional tariffs and fees. We were incredibly grateful for the understanding and support we received. Almost all of our U.S. customers chose to continue with their orders, and we truly appreciate that.

With the tariff now increased to 50%, however, it has become much more difficult for both our customers and CAT5GEAR to absorb these additional costs. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend shipments to the United States.

This is not a decision we take lightly. The U.S. market represents a significant portion of our online sales, and our American customers have been an important part of CAT5GEAR’s growth and success. We value those relationships tremendously.

For the time being, we will be monitoring the situation closely while we work on developing a new strategy that may allow us to resume shipments to the U.S. If the tariffs are reduced or eliminated, we will reassess the situation immediately.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to our U.S. customers and friends. We hope this is only a temporary situation, and we look forward to serving our American customers again as soon as we can.

INTERNATIONAL
International orders are subject to their countries duties and/or taxes and vary by country.

CANADA
Canadian orders ship domestically and appropriate taxes will be applied at our online checkout. CAT5GEAR ships from within Canada so all Canadian orders are duty-free.

Through our online store we ship to Canada and all 50 of the US states, we also ship internationally to Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sweden, Turkey, UAE and the United Kingdom. INSTOCK ITEMS:
For online orders to the United States these are shipped ground by courier (usually UPS) and take approximately 5-10 business days for delivery. Canadian orders are shipped ground by courier (Canpar, Canada Post, or UPS) and take approximately 3-7 business days. All other International orders are shipped by courier (usually UPS) and take approximately 7-14 business days.
